Privacy Policy

Khirad Labs LLC ("Khirad", "we") builds software for small businesses, including Keyvio, an assistant for landlords and their tenants and repair vendors. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Contact details: names, email addresses and mobile phone numbers that landlords enter, or that you give us.
- Messages and photos: texts and pictures you send to a Keyvio number, and the replies.
- Rental and repair details: the property, the unit, repair requests, visit times and the record of work done, including before and after photos from repair vendors.
- Account and usage data: sign-in records and basic logs needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
We use this information only to provide the service: to answer tenants, log repair requests, arrange repair visits, notify the landlord, keep a record of the work, and keep the service secure. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
Text messages (SMS)
How the Keyvio text program works, including how tenants and repair vendors agree to texts: khirad.ai/keyvio.
- Who texts you: the Keyvio assistant texts tenants of homes managed with Keyvio, and repair vendors the landlord works with, about the tenant's home or the vendor's job. There is no marketing.
- How you agree: a tenant signs the Keyvio texting notice from their landlord and starts the conversation by texting the Keyvio number. A landlord adds a repair vendor only after the vendor agrees to receive job texts. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of a lease or a job.
- How often: message frequency varies with your requests and repairs.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Stop or get help: reply STOP at any time to stop all texts, and START to receive them again. Reply HELP for help. For emergencies, call 911.
- No sharing for marketing: We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Who else processes your data
We use a small number of service providers, only to run the service. None of them may use your information, your mobile phone number or your messaging consent for their own marketing:
- Twilio (sending and receiving text messages)
- Cloudflare (hosting, storage and network security)
- Resend (email to landlords)
- AI model providers reached through Cloudflare (currently Anthropic and Google), which process message text to draft replies for us
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages, repair records and photos while the landlord uses Keyvio, because they are the record of work done on the home. We delete or anonymise them when the landlord closes their account, except where the law requires us to keep them longer.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people and systems that need it, and sensitive fields are encrypted at rest.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. Tenants and vendors can also ask their landlord.
Children
Keyvio is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced on this page.
